... that Sailing Anarchy Yacht Club challenges with a DoG monster
"Why not join the cooler party?" may have been the question of the day, when Sailing Anarchy Yacht Club (SAYC) revised its decision to enter the 33rd America's Cup under the so much disputed protocol. Instead, the club thought of honoring the tradition and returning to the true spirit of the Deed of Gift by issuing a separate, so-called DoG Challenge for a one-on-one match against the defender. "A 44 ft LWL min. and 90 ft. LWL max. vessel should not be too difficult to build", was the opinion of an anonymous member of the busily working Anarchy Challenge design team, "BOR did it in under 10 months. And as we know, many well-known designers argued that DoGzilla isn't so special."
We don't know what to think about it, but we know that SAYC is capable of anything.
